A few years ago, I was with Fr. Jose Poch of St. David’s Church in North Hollywood at a clergy conference in North Carolina. We began sharing about the joys and blessings of a life of ministry when Fr. Jose said something I will never forget. “But of all the accomplishments of my life, my wife Maly is my greatest treasure.” I couldn’t have agreed more. Yes! Of all the joys and blessings and accomplishments of this life, a beloved husband or wife is the greatest treasure.
