Clergy Deployment Office

The Clergy Deployment Office (CDO) is a subcommittee of the Diocese's standing commmittee on Clergy Development and Theological Education. The Clergy Deployment Committee is charged with (1) facilitating placement of the Diocese's newly ordained clergy within the Diocese's family of member congregations whenever possible and appropriate; (2) responding, with reasonable promptness, to inquiries from clergy seeking placement with a member congregation of the Diocese, and (3) when requested to do so, assisting vestries (or congregational leadership where there is no vestry) in the process of conducting a search for ordained clergy, including standards for clergy compensation.

The Scriptural support for Clergy Deployment is Ro 10:15 "And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things!'"
