Clergy Development

Anglican congregations cannot grow and multiply themselves if we fail to develop an increasing number of qualified candidates for the ordained clergy. Our Clergy Development Committee's call and responsibility is to oversee the care and process toward ordination of fit candidates for both the Permanent Deaconate and the Priesthood. Clergy Development (one of two subcommittees of our Clergy Development and Theological Development Committee) currently has a number of persons in its well defined process that was developed and tested in practice in association with the Western Convocation of the Anglican Communion Network, as well as the Diocese of Luweero, Uganda.

How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?  Rom 10:14,15
